BURAK DİMİCİ
Partner

Burak Dimici is one of the founding partners and also the managing partner of Dimici ׀ Aksoy. He is in charge of the energy, mining and infrastructure projects along with cross-border transactions practices of the firm.

Burak Dimici worked as the in-house counsel and the compliance officer in a multinational energy conglomerate, and its two joint ventures in Turkey, where he also served as the board secretary and had the opportunity to gain the unrivaled perspective of a client and observe very closely the business challenges in the executive level. Prior to this position, he provided legal and regulatory advice mainly on energy and mining projects as the senior associate in charge of the energy practice of the Istanbul office of a London based international law firm.

After graduating from Ankara University, Faculty of Law in 2001, Burak Dimici started working as the legal advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and counselor at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. During this period, he was seconded to advise BOTAS and certain matters related to Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project during which he also participated the negotiations of international treaties.

Over the course of his more than twenty years long career, Burak Dimici has been praised for his breadth of experience and is well known for setting up tailor-made corporate structures based on the needs of each transaction.

As a senior practitioner, Burak Dimici gives lectures on energy law, project finance and epc contracts.

CANSU AKSOY
Partner

Cansu Aksoy is one of the founding partners of Dimici ׀ Aksoy. After graduating from Robert College in 2006 and Koc University in 2010, she was admitted to Istanbul Bar in 2011. She focuses her career primarily on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and employment.

Previously, Cansu Aksoy has worked for a Paris based international law firm for two years, and then, joined a law firm focusing on her areas of expertise. Her priority is always finding solutions with business-minded perspective, not putting up roadblocks.

Throughout her career, Cansu Aksoy has advised both big and middle scale corporate clients and joint ventures in particular. With local and international clients in a variety of sectors, including global conglomerates, prominent energy companies, global leaders of real estate management and international contracting, Cansu represents clients from a broad spectrum of industries. In addition to her expertise in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, she also has in-depth experience in real property and employment law related matters, including sale and purchase of hotels, resorts, shopping malls and individual/collective labor law related queries and redundancy actions.
