Burak Dimici is one of the founding partners and also the managing partner of Dimici ׀ Aksoy. He is in charge of the energy, mining and infrastructure projects along with cross-border transactions practices of the firm.
Burak Dimici worked as the in-house counsel and the compliance officer in a multinational energy conglomerate, and its two joint ventures in Turkey, where he also served as the board secretary and had the opportunity to gain the unrivaled perspective of a client and observe very closely the business challenges in the executive level. Prior to this position, he provided legal and regulatory advice mainly on energy and mining projects as the senior associate in charge of the energy practice of the Istanbul office of a London based international law firm.
After graduating from Ankara University, Faculty of Law in 2001, Burak Dimici started working as the legal advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and counselor at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. During this period, he was seconded to advise BOTAS and certain matters related to Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project during which he also participated the negotiations of international treaties.
Over the course of his more than twenty years long career, Burak Dimici has been praised for his breadth of experience and is well known for setting up tailor-made corporate structures based on the needs of each transaction.
As a senior practitioner, Burak Dimici gives lectures on energy law, project finance and epc contracts.
